Sinopse do Filme Frankenstein
Tudo, é claro, regado a poderes sobrenaturais.
EM INGLÊS
Synopsis: The legend of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table is told through a new vision in The Mists of Avalon, a film adaptation of a best selling novel by Marion Zimmer Bradley that caused crash when it launched in the 80s, for dealing with address the occult and witchcraft.
The scenario allowed stunning images. The venue for the filming was Prague. The backdrop features visual depiction of the period of history with rock formations, ancient and primitive features of Europe.
Unlike other films which entered the fascinating story of King Arthur in the 13th century, the film takes place between the years 600 and 700 AD., During the so-called Dark Ages, shortly after the Romans left Britain. Christians and pagans live in conflict. Faith and spirituality collide.
Avalon is a magical island, viewed only by women who have vision to see it. From there, there are powerful witches that can change the fate of any person. Everything under the blessings of the Great Goddess, worshiped by the entity started in witchcraft. The magical story of love between rides, meetings, conflicts, passions, sufferings, betrayal, predestined couples, sin, lust and forbidden love.
Huston is Viviane, the High Priestess. Aunt of Arthur and Lady of the Lake, which devotes all its attention to the nature and worships the magical side of life. His supreme powers allied with Merlin the Magician will help to firm Arthur on the throne. But his offering to the Great Goddess has been made. Arthur is crowned king of the Great Britain. Magules is Morgaine, half sister of the king, the future successor to the magic line.
The Great Goddess, invoked by the prayers of Viviane, makes Arthur and his sister, Morgaine, to participate in a mating ritual magic, in which both remain with their faces covered. Without knowing who is your partner, the king falls for the sister. The fruit of that love, Mordred, can serve the purposes of the Great Goddess: A man with blood magic, able to govern Avalon.
With the passing of time, the kingdom has to deal with several traps, curses and falsehoods coming from the jealous and vengeful sister Viviane, Morgause (played by Joan Allen). She will be responsible for the tragedies that occurred with Morgaine, the royal family, Avalon and England.
His attitudes and his stubborn desire to put a man on the throne of his blood misrepresent the character of Mordred so sweet. Far from the mother, he becomes a ruthless monster capable of committing terrible atrocities. Until his father becomes the target.
Alongside the plot, there is a clash between two different religions: the mysticism of ancient British culture and incessant struggle to win the Catholicism that, gradually, is deployed on the island by the Romans. The strength of the women of Avalon is powerful, capable of perpetuating the old rites through his passion and determination to the Great Goddess.
The stories that involve magic and mysticism, often in middle age, are up. The film The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring takes up the same theme in a world suggestively called Middle-Earth: the struggle of good against evil to establish themselves in power. Everything, of course, washed down with supernatural powers.
